IBCPC Partnership
Hornet Watersports is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with the International Breast Cancer Paddlers’ Commission (IBCPC).
Hornet Watersports, one of the leading suppliers of dragon boat equipment, has developed a product line in partnership with the IBCPC. A portion of the sales proceeds of all Hornet IBCPC branded products will go towards helping IBCPC’s mandate to encourage the establishment of breast cancer dragon boat teams worldwide, within the framework of participation and inclusiveness. IBCPC supports the development of recreational dragon boat paddling as a contribution to a healthy life-style for those diagnosed with breast cancer.
To kick off the product line, we are proud to launch the IBCPC Hornet Paddle.
This carbon fiber paddle is made by Hornet Watersports. It is the new Hornet STING model (IDBF license #3523). The frontside and the backside of this paddle have a different IBCPC design. The edges are reinforced with fiberglass for strength and the paddle comes with a 1-year warranty. The paddle comes in two versions:
Fixed Length

Adjustable Length
- Weight: 15.5 oz

2018 is a very special year for IBCPC. The IBCPC Participatory Dragon Boat Festival is held every three- four years, and this year it will be held in the beautiful city of Florence, Italy from 6th-8th July. Organized and promoted by FIRENZE IN ROSA Onlus as the official Organizing Committee for IBCPC, the Florence Festival will welcome from 4,000 to 5,000 paddlers and supporters from all over the world.
